Traffic Intern

at Creative Spark in Cape Town

The Traffic Intern will be based in Cape Town and will assist with all production requests for digital marketing and websites builds. He/she will report to the Traffic Manager.

Basic tasks will include:

  • Checking written briefs received from client service for all digital support to ensure that the correct briefing template has been used, that there are clear deliverables and that all the necessary information (including deadlines) have been supplied.
  • Tracking studio timesheets and reminding staff to complete their timesheets regularly
  • Checking if resources are in studio on time and flagging if anyone is repeatedly tardy
  • Proactively upskilling themselves regarding digital technology and applications
  • Ensuring kickstarts happen between client service and resources
  • Assisting with administrative tasks (setting up training, meetings, ensuring suppliers are setup and that we have all the documents in place, ensuring files on the server is up to date, etc.)
  • Assisting the Project Management team with adhoc tasks (content and QA)

Requirements:

  • Magnetic knowledge would be advantageous (training will also be provided)
  • 1 years’ experience in a production or traffic role in a creative environment would be beneficial
  • Exceptional administrative skills, including MS Office and Google Docs knowledge
  • Excellent communication skills and proactive approach to all tasks
  • Digital knowledge and experience
  • Positive can-do attitude
  • Problem solving skills
