JUNIOR BUYER (EE)

PURPOSE OF JOB

To provide a balanced,customer focused, assortment of merchandise in order to meet sales budgets, gross profit, and gross profit percentage targets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Range building and Merchandise Selection
• Calculation of costing to achieve required gross profit targets
• Placing of Orders
• Assisting Merchandise Manager with adhoc duties
• Communication with suppliers on range, pricing, costing, metal make-ups, order follow-ups, quotes etc
• Order management
• Control of Stock - from GRV to Warehouse
• Control of Stock to Locations - Marketing / Buyer's etc
• Assist with all stock takes as directed
• Attending local and international Fairs and Suppliers

• SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
• Academic Qualifications: Merchandise Diploma or relevant
• More than 2 years experience in a similar role (within Retail, Luxurious brands)
